Girl Crushes

No, not real crushes, but every girl has those certain ladies – famous or not - who they look up to, emulating their personal style and keeping up with the latest happenings in their fascinating lives.
My top five current girl crushes:
#1: Tina Fey – gorgeous and undeniably hilarious! The one person on TV these who embodies my sense of humour perfectly. Why does 30 Rock need to end?
#2: Chloe Sevigny – a fascinating, beautiful oddball. She can pull off outfits and styles like no one else.
#3: Blake Lively – she’s the star of my guiltiest of guilty pleasure TV shows, Gossip Girl, but she’s actually a great actress! This tall, blonde bombshell has it all. Let’s just hope she doesn’t start a singing career and ruin it.
#4: Zooey Deschanel – Speaking of singing actresses… Zooey is as well-known for her music career as she is for her film career and I think that’s because she did it right. She got into the indie scene, where most of her fans were in the first place, singing duets with M. Ward and recently tying the knot with Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard. My favourite of her contributions will always be Almost Famous.
#5: Carey Mulligan - she is so cute, you just want to pick her up and keep her in your pocket. Like a baby bunny. This rising star didn’t need her hair weighing her down and is now rocking a very Twiggy-esque pixie cut.
Am I missing anyone obviously amazing?
It’s in keeping, really, with my general crush on all things 30 Rock, but you can’t leave out Julianne Moore.
Julianne Moore is pretty amazing. I saw her on Rachael Ray a while ago and she was showing off her interior design and cooking skills, so she’s not just a pretty face, but I think we all knew that already!
