I’ve seen a lot of photos from New York City in the 1920s and ’30s, but here’s a treat for Canadians – photos of downtown Toronto from nearly a century ago. It’s amazing to see how much has changed and how much has stayed the same.

Yonge and Dundas Streets

Front Street (Check out the Royal York Hotel on the left and Union Station on the right)

Queen and Dufferin Streets (this looks remarkably the same as it does today!)
