Help Japan

March 17, 2011 § Leave a comment

If you’re like me, you’ve been watching the media coverage of the horrifying scenes in Japan and feeling just awful, wishing you could help in some way that will make a difference. It’s not as though Japan is a third world country, but many parts of it have been completely demolished and they need all the help they can get right now.

When natural disasters happen, you often see tons of charities online, asking for donations, and it’s not always easy to know which ones are legit or not. You can always trust the Red Cross, and right now, Living Social is running a deal that if you donate $5 to the relief fund, they’ll match your donation. You don’t even have to have an account, you can log in through Facebook! Click here to donate now. What’s five dollars to you anyway?
